Some jewels begin with a sketch. This one began with the sea.
While walking along the shore of a remote island in the Philippines, TASO discovered this extraordinary shell just as the sea washed it ashore at his feet. Drawn to its natural architecture, color and sculptural form, he collected it and kept it until the idea for the jewel took shape.
Rather than altering what nature had already created, TASO designed the silver structure around the shell, preserving its original form and transforming a chance encounter with the sea into a wearable work of art.
Found by the Sea is a true one-of-a-kind piece. The shell at its center cannot be replicated or replaced — there will never be another exactly like it.
